Coronation Plaza is fantastic, and has the most basic of amenities: banks, a supermarket, food outlets, hairdressing salons, stationery shops and tuition agencies. Only very recently, a Starbucks has been installed at the foot of the mall.
Even then, Coronation Plaza is a hit among the young and old. The parking space is fairly huge, the mall is never too crowded, and it has just enough to keep everyone occupied while they are there. you can especially enjoy the ATMs (hardly ever a queue) and old school stationery stores where you can describe an ancient pen model to the uncle and he knows exactly what you're looking for, looking slightly pained to tell you that they don't make those pens anymore.
The grocery store is also good for basics - like meats and produce, milk, etc. But you won't find much selection in Western products here. Though in comparison to Cold Storage it is much cheaper.
